...Straight On Till Morning
DB3
"...Straight On Till Morning" is rock and roll at it's finest. Well thought out, melodic tunes that tell a story and convey emotion. The music and energy has been likened to Jimmy Eat World, The Foo Fighters, U2, the Smoking Popes and even Led Zepplin.

Description
DB3 is Daniel Beahm (guitar/vox/keyboards), Jonas Bendsen (bass) and Blaize Vanderhoff (drum kit). In June of 2004, DB3 independently produced and marketed their debut album, ...Straight On Till Morning. In the first five months, the album sold over 500 copies. The previous year, Dan put out a solo album called Maybe I'll Fly, also independently produced and marketed, that sold over 500 copies in its first six months.
So what is the DB3 sound? Call it eclectic. Call it electric. Call it intelligent, indie-garage-pop-rock. Call it whatever the hell you want, just listen with constant anticipation, joy and fervor. With its roots in Beahm's solo acoustic career and his love of John Denver and Paul Simon, you can expect some heart-felt folk influences. But it evolves quickly from there. The whole idea of forming a band came from a need to rock and rage. Energy levels and "the sound" have garnered the band comparisons to The Smoking Popes, Foo Fighters, Led Zepplin and Jimmy Eat World. But beyond the pure energy, DB3 steps it up a notch by adding a charming intellect, telling stories and laying it all on the line for each hungry listener to consume.
