Description
Fate Sensation is Soundscape Electronica with a New Wave flair. Taking its cue primarily from the New Wave textures of the 1980s, its influences run the gamut from Tangerine Dream's "Love on a Real Train" to New Order, Gary Numan, Talk Talk, Electric Light Orchestra, Robbie Robertson and Neil Young's "Trans." More recent inspiration flows from likes of Orbital, Boards of Canada and The Postal Service.
Fate Sensation is for the listener who hears the music before the lyric. It is soundscape music - rhythmic, cinematic, ambient and eclectic. It is subtle, spiritual, hopeful yet also bittersweet...
Fate Sensation features the music of Clifton Batchelor, an instructor at the Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences. The songs "Fate Sensation" and "Driven" feature contributions from Jeff and Greg Burns, whose music can be heard by searching CDBaby for SuperTweeker and Solamingus. Please check out their music. It's great stuff!
