Description
Paul Marturano also has a regular musical act where he performs songs from a mix of artists such as: Billy Joel, The Beatles, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, Jim Croce, Aerosmith as well as several others. His catalog includes over 200 songs dating from the 1950's to the present as well as about 50 original songs. Marturano is a singer-songwriter that is known for his rock'n'roll piano style, but is also known for his soothing ballads. His live show is full of energy and is always a good time.
Paul Marturano began playing piano at age 3 and has been writing songs since age 10. He has received extensive radio airplay on Y-100-FM, 104.5-FM, 88.5-FM, 89.1-FM in the Philadelphia Area. He has written theme songs for the Kent Voss Show (WWDB-FM) and Angelo Cataldi's Morning Show (610-AM WIP).Marturano has performed everywhere from Five Star Restaurants such as Nick's in Philly's Rittenhouse Hotel to New York City Piano Bars to The Premier Party for the hit movie, THE SIXTH SENSE, at the Prince Theather in Philadelphia. He has performed on 6ABC-Philadelphia, FOX29- Philadelphia, and Comcast Sportsnet.
In the past, Paul has taken breaks from performing live to work in the television industry on the Miss America Pageant (1997), the Grammy Awards (1998), and Who Wants to be a Millionaire (2000-2002). He has just finished shooting a pilot for VH1 called "Just Visiting." He is currently managed by OFF THE EDGE PRODUCTIONS and is being booked on the college circuit. He has released 2 Compact Discs and has a third one on the way.
