Description

Born and raised in Southern California, Melissa graduated from a private universtiy in 2001 with a B.A. in Communication, emphasizing in Electronic Media Production, and a Minor in Music.

She began writing songs at the age of 14; performing since the age of 4, all the meanwhile attending private voice lessons and performing in school choirs. Melissa has been both classically and operatically trained. It's in her eclectic musical tastes and songwriting talents that her originality shines through in each developing song.

Melissa currently performs mostly in the Los Angeles and surrounding areas. She was a featured artist at 'Chick Singer Night' in Hollywood, CA, during the early stages of her "pursuit of music" and clearly captures the hearts of every audience that hears her. Loving every moment of the time and work it takes to create, perfect and perform; Melissa has always said she will die trying. "my lyrics never lie; My Calling is calling me!
