Description
It begins!
In 2005, Matt Farley of Moes Haven declared that his band would make 365 albums, one for each day of 2006.
And now they're actually doing it!
As promised, they're also releasing 12 official albums in 2006 featuring the best tracks from each month.
From January's 31 albums, 14 tracks were carefully selected to create a very impressive collection of Moes Haven songs. The boys continue getting better and more diverse. This album features some of Farley's best and most elegant piano ballads to date, along with a number of tracks where Scalzo's acoustic guitar takes center stage. And it's all just spectacular!
"Don't get me wrong," says Farley, "this project is exhausting. But it's also already resulted in some great songs that we never would have written if we hadn't forced ourselves to do an album a day. People keep telling me we're gonna burn out before the end of the year. It hasn't happened yet, though."
If any band can record 30-minutes of music every day for an entire year, it's Moes Haven. And if this album is any indication, it's clear that they're not making just any old music - they're making great, important music that will shock naysayers into believing that Moes Haven is capable of anything.
We'll see you in February!
