Description
New York City's hottest new rock group, ReadyIn10, has been generating quite a buzz for its talent, stage presence and energetic live shows since the band formed in January 2005.
The guitar driven group showcases the heart and soul members of the famous cover band Peat Moss and the Fertilizers, who play more than 200 shows a year. The experience the group has together both on and off stage has allowed ReadyIn10 to perform effortlessly and consistently from their very first performance. ReadyIn10 has played in Manhattan at Kenny's Castaways and The C-Note, and on Long Island at The Downtown, Mulcahy's and Munchaba Lounge. After being on the scene for only six months, the band was given the privilege to open up a sold-out concert for Rusted Root at Mulcahy's in Wantagh, NY.
The band was recently reviewed in Aural Fix Magazine as "bringing an energy and personality to each song they played. ReadyIn10's set was a mix of rock, pop and blues, they showed they could rock out with the big boys."
The band's four members are all native Long Islanders and are no strangers to each other; Marc Viola-guitars and vocals, Jim Milano-drums and percussion, Sal Nastasi-vocals and guitars, and Joe Milano-bass guitar. Marc and Sal have known each other for years. They met through their fathers who are life-long friends. Jim and Joe are brothers and have been making music together their entire lives. As the bass player and the drummer, the musical cohesion that Jim and Joe have mastered adds a uniqueness to ReadyIn10's flawless rhythm.
Putting ideas and feeling into words, Sal is the main lyricist and composes the basic foundation of most of the group's music. When combined with Marc's niche to produce catchy, melodic guitar lines over rock solid rhythms set by Jim and Joe, this writing team is moving quickly toward making some big waves in the ever-growing contemporary music scene.
ReadyIn10 is especially known for their awesome stage presence that immediately captures the audience, while Sal pours his emotions into every heartfelt lyric he sings.
