Description
John Stebbe is a public school elementary music teacher, and also directs the children's choirs at his church. He is a published composer of choral works for children. He plays jazz piano at various venues in Indianapolis, and also is the leader of the "John Stebbe Trio."
Many of the tracks on this CD are Internet collaborations with Pennsylvania drummer Laine Wehler. John and Laine traded music files as e-mail attachments to create many of the tracks on this CD (for instance, "Mozart Jazz" -- listen to it, and see if you think it sounds like an in-person live performance!).
John also used his wife and daughters to add vocals on several tracks (for example, "Just A Closer Walk With Thee"). While this CD is primarily an instrumental jazz piano CD, you'll find a few tracks with vocals, just for a little added spice.
