> Having been signed by Geffen in 1993, then dropped before their debut was ever released, you could have forgiven Orange County's Wiskey Biscuit for calling it a day. Thankfully, they persisted and released two albums on their own, under the Shipwrecords label. The band quite evidently loves what they do. Inspired by all thats good in stoner music, they mix and match genres with little regard for how things are supposed to be. Both playful and inventive, the band is held together by a restless energy that sees all seven members pulling their weight, snatches of guitar, organ and clattering percussion constantly adding interest where many bands would simply stick to the
groove. Wiskey Biscuit are a good-time band of considerable depth. Their third self released album is expected in Spring 2005.
