Description
One week in late 2001, due to a lack of guitar skills and the absence of his usual songwriting partner and guitarist, a 14 year old Zac Clark recorded 7 extremely lo-fi demos in his basement and for the first time, added piano. Several friends heard the demos and soon people were requesting cds; an EP was made of the 2001 material and self-released in the spring of 2002. Buzz in the Burlington, VT area grew as Zac was chosen as a finalist in the 99.9 The Buzz Battle of the Bands, and soon a band formed, named Perfect Disaster, after the EP of the same name. A successful year of shows and demos followed, but eventually, it was time for the 4 members to move on to their own separate projects. It was then that 17 year old vocalist/pianist Zac Clark decided it was time to start work on some new material. Over a year and many demos later, the album has been completed. Produced by Zac Clark and Joe Egan at Egan Media Productions in Colchester, Faking Amnesia will see its release on June 7th, 2005.
