Description
Award-winning pianist and singer/songwriter Zachary Provost established himself as one of music's rising new talents in 1999 when asked by 14-time Grammy-winning producer David Foster to arrange the National Anthem for Cher to perform at Super Bowl XXXIII.
"The depth of his musicianship is endless and his great songwriting, arranging and production skills make him a triple threat, raves Foster.
In addition to recording and performing regularly throughout Los Angeles and beyond, Zachary is also musical director and pianist for Warner Brothers platinum artist Josh Groban. In summer of 04, crowds at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles were in for a rare treat when Josh Groban asked Zachary to perform two original songs during the shooting of Groban's upcoming DVD 'Josh Groban Live at the Greek.'
Zachary sang with Groban's band accompanying him on the songs 'Fire' from Provost's album 'Alive' (also available here at cdbaby.com) as well as 'Heart of the Moment, the title track from his new EP. The music was well received by Groban's fans and Zachary made quite a few of his own.
"When I listening to records that I love they always have the same qualities - a great song, an amazing performance, a sensitive arrangement and recording. These records give me a great feeling. That's the feeling I try to achieve with my music". - Zachary Provost
