Like Marc Cohn, Lyle Lovett and Bonnie Raitt, Big Hands Colvins musical style is difficult to definea little bit blues, a little bit country, a little bit soul. Whether hes songwriting, singing, playing sax or guitarBig Hands is a big talent.
Currently a frontman for the Central-Coast-of-California-based, Big Daddys Blues Band, Colvin has played with or opened for a number of well-known artists including: Tom Scott, Jesse Colin Young, and Nelson Braxton.
Big Hands Colvin has also toured extensively as a member of the Cardiff Reefers, Rock Steady Posse and Eric Ellsworth Band. He is a professional songwriter with an impressive collection of solid originalsand the voice to compete with anyone in the genre.
He and his wife live in Port Townsend , Washington. Colvin is presently in the studio working on his next project.
