Description
Captain Fatass is not jazzy blues, bluesy jazz, rocky soul, nor trippy acid jams. Neither plaintive nor soulful, they are mere men, who clang together hard-hitting gentle-rubbing emotional pleas; to nature, to animals, to women (and their fathers), to doctors, to urban planners, and to indifferent mannequins.
Captain Fatass is five men, all handsome, but not in an alienating way. They sing together, and apart, with loud confident guitars, bass, drums, and other instruments traditionally associated with American popular music. They will sell you t-shirts. They will play your wedding. They will not steal your wives or daughters, but not because they couldn't if they wanted to. They on average make music festivals and showcases better by a factor of 4.
