Description
4 Part Angel also known as "4PA" is Mississippi's newest music sensation. Group members Michelle, Kiarra "KiKi", and Princess are from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. These 12 & 13 year old singers and dancers were brought together by Robert Hamilton of Chita Trillogy Entertainment just months before Hurricane Katrina. Two of the group members lost everything during the storm but they did not become discouraged. The group was working on their debut cd called "On The Radio" before the storm. Their recording studio "The Sound Lab" was also destroyed so they had to travel a hundred miles to the east, to record at "A Dog Named David" studios. It took ten months for the girls to complete their 10 track cd, but the finished product is a work to be proud of. The cd is a mixture of Hip Hop,R&B, and Pop, with a little bit of Gospel and Rock thrown in. The cd has two Katrina related songs "That's alright,That's okay" is dedicated to those who have felt the destruction of the hurricane. The song "Thank you" is dedicated to the disaster workers from across the nation and the world that came to help out after the devastation. The girls wanted to do their part to help rebuild the coast so they created the "Be an Angel Tour" for hurricane relief. The group worked a deal through a major retail chain to do free shows outside of their stores in different cities throughout the south. In exchange for the free shows fans were asked to donate to the Salvation Army and the Boys and Girls Clubs. The group has appeared on both local and national television. They appeared on "Good Morning America" performing their song That's Alright That's Okay in front of fourteen million viewers worldwide and were interviewed by GMA anchor Robin Roberts. The group was recently featured on the Montel Williams show where they performed and were treated to a rousing standing ovation. They appeared on an episode of his show honoring amazing kids who raised money for charities across america! They were also recognized by the mayor of New Orleans Ray Nagin for their work on behalf of the people who were affected by hurricane Katrina along the Gulf Coast on the show. The group has appeared in local ad campaigns and in several news publications across the country. Believe in the power of positive music. Believe in 4PA!
