Description

Its all about the music, having a good time, meeting good people, and spreading the love. 5th Generation is a Reggae/Rock/Ska/Funk band out of Greenville, North Carolina. They started playing music in early 2005, and have been on a constant misson to shake as many asses, rock as many venues, and drink as much free beer as they can. Their first full length album, "Let the Music Hit," was released on September 15th 2006. In their short existence, 5th Generation has shared the stage with the Soldiers of Jah Army, Jah Creation, The Movement, Arrested Development, Jimmies Chicken Shack, Passafire, Scholars Word, and Donnovan and the Posse. 2006 has already been a big year for 5th Generation and its only going up from here. They we invited to play at the 2006 East Coast Showcase and have thus far taken first place in the opening round and the Semi-Finals putting them in the Finals in early November.
