ADALYA is a music ministry that emerged out of an evening worship service at a local church in Tucson, Arizona. ADALYAs desire is to ignite the spark of passion for God and relationship with Him through the mediums of music, theatre, and the visual arts.

ADALYA is a Hebrew name which means, God Is My Refuge. Names and the choosing of names were very important in scripture. Names were not only a means of identification, but they signified ownership and possession as well. The name, ADALYA, is a declaration by the band of who they belong to and who they trust completely. Its a way to communicate their relationship with God in a name.

Relationship with God is first and foremost what Jesus taught, and that is exactly the message ADALYA would like to share. The creative arts greatly influence our society, and as a group, ADALYA uses the arts to communicate with people in an unexpected way, transforming a message that has been heard many times into something brilliant and unavoidable, something that gets people thinking and asking questions.
