Description
Aileen Paron is a bright newcomer to the Seattle music scene, but is no stranger to the stage, having over a decade of performing experience. Ive always known performing was my calling. I started writing songs when was a teenager, but the path I originally chose to follow was dancing and musical theatre. It was a comfortable space for me, and I was able to express myself through choreographing and performing in shows. Eventually, I began to realize it wasnt enough. I had a voice of my own, and I needed to make it heard. I had to make a change. I started focusing on writing again and the floodgates opened. Ive never looked back.
The end result of that decision is Anonyma. On her debut CD, Aileen weaves her distinctive vocals and personal, evocative lyrics through stories of broken relationships, lost innocence, political allegory, and more. My music is very lyric-driven, the story comes first for me, and then I work from there. Anonyma delivers darkly beautiful, reflective songs and surprisingly catchy pop hooks youll want to listen to again and again. A promising start indeed, and one that hints at bigger and better things to come from this blossoming artist.
