Description
This is Alex's first album. He record all instruments to a computer sequencer and only after he included his guitar live, with no tricks while mixing to a 2 tracks DAT recorder. Why did he did it? Because the music was played by a computer and he thought about including a human touch. Mistakes are there because this is a live recording.
Alex used a synth guitar allowing him to play many sounds at once. You can try finding what instrument was played live in the final track Mr.Davis. One track was recorded without sequencers: MINUETO. There he used only his synth guitar and you can see all the potencial of the instrument. Other tracks were heavilly instrumented with strings, percussion, synths and basses played by the computer, but, as Keith Emerson quotes "It only plays what I want". The same with Alex. This is a beatiful album full of the imagination of this brazilian composer.
