Description
For all those who enjoy a lost cause, "glow in the dark boy" is just post apocalyptic pop art by other means,(in this case music). While spending the night at a girl's house she frustratingly remarked that I was so pale that I "glow in the dark". I thought to myself, first of all, people who spend all their time in the sun look like crap once they hit a certain age. Second of all, the world is a dark and miserable place filled with the same people. A boy who glows in the dark should be considered a rare and priceless thing. He shines despite his bleak surroundings. The concept of Invasion of the Body Snatchers is also thinly enveloped within these lo-fi romantic interest driven pop songs. The underlying theme(or "sidequest" if you will) is the individual vs. society. For all those living in an overpopulated world, who still somehow feel like the last man on Earth. Future playground classics.
