Description
Coming from totally different backgrounds and hometowns, Josh Earley, Philip Dean, and Carlos Hernandez met when they were randomly placed into the same dorm at Virginia Commonwealth University 3 years ago. The three started jamming together and writing the early stages of what was to come. After various line-up changes and different directions, the band settled with Josh on vocals and guitar, Carlos on lead, and Phil on bass. They were able to find their drummer, Keen Trinh on Facebook.com by placing a random add and sending many messages to anyone that listed drums as an interest. They have been playing in Richmond as the current line-up for over a year. Bock's Car is influenced by bands like Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin, Blind Melon, Black Sabbath, Guns N Roses, Bush, DMB, Jimi Hendrix, and Alice in Chains. They don't like to be held to just one genre so if something sounds good to them, they'll play it.
