Description
Cobb Bussinger is a composer/arranger/producer presently living in northern California. This CD, Breath of Life, is the first in a series of solo piano CDs he will be recording in the near future.
Having been in the world of electronic music and other genres for so many years, it has long been his desire to return to his first love, the solo acoustic piano, to record a series of melodic and meditative CDs. He has taken a near-minimalist approach with this recording, and written simple, open melodies and arrangements with hopes of allowing the listeners mind and body to relax and release tension. Many of the themes and variations are improvised, thus creating a free-flowing movement throughout the CD.
Similar styles are David Lanz, George Winston, Jim Brickman, Debussy, Satie, etc.
