Description
This is Bishop Yvette Flunder's second solo project ("There's Power" being her first solo project - 1996). She has about 55 churches under her leadership - The Fellowship is a conference she has every year - on June 5th 2005 she did a live recording in Oakland California at The Olivet Institutional Missionary Baptist Church - (Pastor Gordon A. Humphrey) and it was a very spiritual experience - God was in the house. She wanted to share more of her musical ministry after the 10 years and I can say that she has done just that on the CD. This CD is entitled "We Won't Be Silent Anymore" and The Fellowship Mass Choir was so in tune with her. "I Will Give You Rest" is the released single, composed by Patrisha Gill (she's famous for the song - "Solid Rock" recorded by Bishop Walter Hawkins and The Love Center Choir on "Love Alive IV).
On this project Bishop Flunder has the most talented singers in the country like - Martha Wash, Shirley Miller, Brenda Roy-Matier, Karen Kitty" Brewington, Jeanie Tracy and Gene Viale and of course her brother - Leonard Conner singing the title song as a duet "Silent Anymore" and her mother The Rt. Rev. Ruth Langston sharing the traditional gospel song, "Lord Keep Me Day By Day" - I promise you - your feet will not stop moving.
You have heard her voice many times with Bishop Walter Hawkins, The Women Chorus/GMWA and The Olivet Institutional Missionary Baptist Church Choir - Sunday Night Live just to name a few and you have her speak to many people all over this country - the truth about the unconditional love of Jesus Christ - this project will fill your heart with so much joy and inspiration.
She delivers a message of hope for all people - the "good news through real gospel music" at its best. The Fellowship producer on this project is the most talented musician, songwriter,arranger I know - Carl Wheeler is famous for his musicianship with The Hawkins Family - Andrae Couch, Bishop Walter Hawkins and Love Center Choir, Toni-Tone-Tonie and Frankie Beverly and Maze and th elist goes on - we are so proud to have him as our producer on this wonderful project - he turned this recording into a masterpiece, thank you - Carl.
