Description
Caravan is a five peice band co-lead by singer/songwriter Ann Whittington on vocals and Phil Smith on tenor and soprano saxophones and flutes. The rhythm section, Brian Chester on keyboards, Jersey Foreman on drums and vocals, Victor Revere on bass and vocals, is tight and they keep the grooves happening. Caravan is well-versed in the swing jazz tradition and more recently the bands direction has changed to encompass a worldbeat/latin flavor.
