Description
Cedar & Spruce branch off into new territory with their instrumental acoustic 2nd album, "Beyond 9 Mile". This time the group moves away from a strictly classical guitar quartet setting into one that features an extended range of vintage and handmade fretted instruments. They also venture into many stylistic areas including bluegrass, celtic, folk, gypsy swing, latin and new age. Alongside their own original compositions and traditional tunes Cedar & Spruce also does new arrangements of music composed by Bela Fleck and Pat Metheny.
