Description
A tender, low-fi tribute to Steve Schmidt, who matriculated to the great Midwest University to learn to be a doctor.
The Midwest EP was recorded over two weekends on a cassette four track in a basement apartment in Chicago, IL. About half the songs were written on the spot, and many were only performed once, true to the form of Steve one-take Schmidt. It features the guest vocals of singer K Magee (My Faith) and film-makers Ian Bonner and Marty Shea (Just Got Back From OK).
