Chris Buckridge
Vaguely psychedelic rocked up and sorta creepy at times stomp through singer-songwriterdom.... shiny, though.

Description
"Chris Buckridge is Brooklyn's best-kept musical secret. Dreamy pop, spikey rock, demented glee...he does it all--often in the same song. Some say he's Frank Black's long-lost kid brother; I say Mr. Black better watch his back."
--Andrew Hultkrans, author, "Forever Changes" (33 1/3 series)
Chris Buckridge is from Canton, Ohio, and always will be. He's lived in Brooklyn since 2000, writing and recording his own songs and helping out his friends with thiers.
When Chris plays solo on recordings, he plays drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, and sings. Due to the physical limitations in that, Chris brings a few of his good friends, the Ne'er Do Evers, to flesh out his sounds for the live show. When he plays with other people, though, he mostly plays bass, but has been known to do all of the above, plus alto sax. Some of those prestigious other people have been the likes of Balthrop, Alabama, Tavo Carbone (of the Deedle Deedle Dees), El Alto, Kyle Fischer (of Rainer Maria), Leah Hayes, Michael Leviton, Moonshine Messiahs, Pascal, Oskar Saville, Jason Springwell, Sunschool, and probably more I can't remember. He also haunts recording studios, as much and as often as possible, such as Drummerman Studios (run by Geoff Mann), Fretman Studios (owned and operated by Brad Craig), and his own damn living room (where his wife Kimberly does the engineering with him.)
Chris Buckridge wants you to have a real good time.
