Description
Cool Electrified Blues Played Hot
"Your feet start tapping, your body starts swaying, and the heart starts pumping to where you just have got to move with the groove."
The DC Riders are a 4-piece Blues/Rock oriented San Jose based band that cover many aspects of the genre with both original and cover music. If you like High Energy Blues, Blues Rock, R&B, and a bit o' Funk you'll enjoy watching and listening to this band. The band consists of Dennis Callanta on Guitar and Lead Vocals, Karen Holtemann on Bass Guitar, Nick Mitrofanoff on Keys, and Vince "Vinny" Cadena, Jr. on the Drums. The talent reaches decades of song and music all the way back to the '60's.
These foursome came from varying musical backgrounds but were brought together by a common love for the Blues. They all bring their unique qualities and abilities and meld it into a foursome of one for the production of this album. Each have their individual influences so their sound and music are all their own.
The DC Riders are a formulation of talent and sound that stretch beyond the Bay Area music scene. If you had to try and sum them and their music into as simple a term as possible, it would have to be "Fun." You can't help but feel a party is going on every time you hear their music.
