A bit of feedback:
"Congrats Dave, the music is brilliant. It sounds like a huge production. I will be playing THE HANG and SLINKY with wild, joyous abandon."
Jaymz Bee - Jazz FM 91.1 Toronto
This is an excellent example of high quality modern-day fusion, something one does not mind to listen over and over again. The trumpet is always accurate and lets the music flow gently in the ears.
Pascal Dorban 'Jazz.com' broadcast Radio ARA, Luxembourg
What a great version of Alfie and compare that with Slinky and you'll realise how diverse and talented Dave is. Great sounds that'll gain good rotation here.
Tony Bates Highlands 100.7 FM
"Great sounding CD, Great tunes, well done Dave"
Larry Larson - Principal trumpet Kitchener Symphony Orchestra:
This is an absolutely terrific recording from first to last; I was very impressed with Dave Dunlop's own compositions. The playing was atmospheric and cleverly captures a variety of moods. The arrangements are superb as is the musicianship, and I especially liked the soulful element in certain tracks."
John Reid of 102.8 FM Banffshire Scotland
