Delta Noves first studio release since 2002s self-titled Delta Nove, The Future Is When, delivers world class production and engineering from Mike Glines, (Ben Harper, Blind Boys of Alabama, Liz Phair , etc.), and highlights the bands songwriting skills while incorporating funk, rock, world/reggae, and various Brazilian styles for which the band has become known. The Future Is When is an exploration capturing the musical discovery, personal experiences, and the unique humor of the band.
Delta Nove is a 6-piece national touring act based out of Long Beach, CA whose members boast diverse musical backgrounds and a colorful landscape of influences and talents that range from rock to world music. Racking up national recognition and a rapid fan base, Delta Nove was voted one of the Top Ten Bands to See in 2005 by jambase.com, as well as winners of Relix Magazines Jam Off competition. In addition, being nominated for Best live Act at the Orange County Music Awards in 2004 and 2005 and in 2006 were crowned Best Live Act and Best Jam Band
Delta Nove has been supported by National media outlets including Entertainment Weekly, Paste, CMJ and Relix. The group has also benefited from radio play on over 200 radio stations through the world. With an intense touring schedule, this band is one of the hardest working on the independent music scene and a unique addition to the already rich musical history of Long Beach, CA.
