Description
Dirt Farmer recorded their album last winter during a 3 day blizzard in an old warehouse in west Toronto. The songs they recorded include tales of various underdogs and misfits on their worst day ever with a sound that ranges from subdued to high energy moodiness. Imagine Elliott Smith sitting down to write a song with Frank Black and you might get an idea of what they're about.
The band primarily consists of Scott and Rob and various local musicians who are their friends from the almighty City of Toronto, Ontario. They play live on a weekly basis and write constantly. Scott and Rob also have a pop alter ego under the name Two Thirds Water(myspace.com/twothirdswater).
