Woodland Tea
Dave McCann & the Ten Toed Frogs
"A Canadian who delivers honest hillbilly music that's more country than much of the pasteurized schlock coming out of major-label Music Row these days." (Performing Songwriter Magazine Nashville TN.)

Description
In the fall of 2000, Dave McCann & the Ten Toed Frogs tore up the Americana charts with their mainstay independent release "Woodland Tea". The masters
have long disappeared & they will never be digitally revisited! Broken and delivered, "Woodland Tea" was heralded by Alt Country folk as "one of the best unknown recordings of 2001"!
They're back in the wake of Americana with the new Release "Country Medicine! A wealth of original cuts with a tip of the old flask to the Jethro Tull classic, Locomotive Breath. Lyrically unvielding, it burns like a firbranded ride through 70's era Outlaw Country Rock. Deluxe tube scratch & all the tone bitten guitar grang one set of fence post ears can handle! This is just another recording as you'd come to expect from one of the most promising bands to fall upon the roots scene in some time!
Reviewed as "Canadian country-folk for a sound that harkens back to The Band. Contemporary enough for mainstream radio yet folky enough for the purists, Dave McCann seems a natural for the festival circuit and a likely candidate for major stardom."
Woodland Tea has landed a few tracks in the upcoming Movie Hank Williams, First Nation (Los Angeles Film Festival), and has lent itself to creating a circle of consistant interest in Dave McCann & the Ten Toed Frogs.
