Description
EVIL BEAVER BIO
Bass and drum, rock duo, Evil Beaver was founded in Chicago in 1999 by front woman Evie Evil. In 2000 Evil Beaver released their debut CD "Lick It". Lick It was followed by "Pleased To Eat You" in 2003. Both titles were recorded and mixed by Grammy-nominated producer Dave Trumfio ( Billy Bragg and Wilco, Hole, and The Breeders).
Evil Beaver has completed several American & European tours, sharing the stage with over one thousand bands including; Bellrays, Chevelle, Faster Pussycat, FuManchu, Imperial Teen, Lightning Bolt, Nina Hagen, The Makers, Peg Boy, Rasputina, Shellac, The White Stripes.
The new Evil Beaver E.P. CD, elegantly titled, "Models of Virtue" is recorded by engineer Mike Terry (Foo Fighters, The Eagles), mixed by Mike Terry & Evil Beaver, and written & produced by Evil Beaver.
EVIE EVIL
As electric lead bassist, vocalist, and founder of Evil Beaver, Evie Evil began performing at five years old, and never looked back. Evie has performed over a thousand live shows in over two hundred cities around the world.
Evie Divides her time between her home in Chicago and her work in Los Angeles.
GENE TRAUTMANN
Born and raised in Portland, OR, Trautmann started playing along to records when he was 11, and at 19 moved to Los Angeles.
Playing around L.A., Trautmann was involved with everyone from Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine to Jeffrey Lee Pierce of the Gun Club.
After playing on "Desert Sessions" 5 & 6 with friend and founder of Queens of the Stonage, Josh Homme, Trautmann joined QOTSA for a 2 1/2 year stint.
In between heavy touring with QOTSA, Gene recorded tracks for several releases: "Rated R" (2001 release), "Songs for the Deaf" (gold release 2003), "Stoned Age Compilation" (2004 release), and various singles.

Trautmann is also featured on the Queens latest DVD release, "Over the years and through the Woods".
Gene spends the bulk of his time writing, recording and performing with Evil Beaver, as well as playing drums and touring with international rock sensations, The Eagles of Death Metal.
Gene lives in Los Angeles and enjoys teaching drums in his spare time.
