Description
Faye Patton - this artist is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose original songs combine jazz, funk, folk, blues and classical influences. Gutsy,fluid vocals that flex and stretch across registers accompanied, often live by funky, bluesey piano arrangements. The spirits of Ray Charles, Junior Mance, Tori Amos and Diamanda Galas breathe within these lyrical landscapes and love songs of searing beauty and pain.
Faye has been gigging regularly in and around the underbelly of the London music scene. Venues include, The Vortex Jazz Club, The Kashmir Klub(host to many international music stars, including Sheryl Crow),The Cobden Club, Ocean, The Spitz,The Union Chapel, The Biddle Brothers Bar and Stratford Theatre Royal East.She is currently writing and recording new material for release in 2006. Look in UK listings Time Out,The Guide and Gay and Lesbian listings Gingerbeer for regular live dates in London.

ISLE OF WIGHT INTERNATIONAL JAZZ DIVAS FESTIVAL 2007

Faye has just been booked to play at this prestigious event where she will be appearing alongside Cleo Lane, John Dankworth, Juliet Kelly and Terry Callier in an international line-up of Jazz artists.
