Description
Give heed, good folkes all. Here ye shall find musick both merry and reverent for the gladsome season of Christmas. One good and kind fellow call'd John Garvey arranged and sequenced the musick herein. Whilst the album begins and ends with music of a contemporary sort, the carols betwixt conjure visions of storied ages past.
Amongst the curiosities of the musick herein, ye shall find monks, a doumbec, Beach Boys impersonators, crackling fires, a fast-food drive-through, a gaggle of geese, a santur, rain, sheep, the Knights Templar, a vibraphone, a police helicopter, a halil, an English horn, a roadster, organum, neighs, fighter jets and a celesta. And ye shall hear Silent Night and Deck the Halls in unconventional settings both curious and unexpected.
