MY SUMMER LOVE
Gary Parent
This isn't hip hop, or screaming vocals that you can't understand. It is a melodic journey through the past and into the present. Acoustic to heavy guitars with strings and lots of beautiful harmonies. Check it out.

Description
My new CD is available now! It's called "It Must Be Love", You can do a search above. When you bring it up there will be samples of all the songs on the CD. Please let me know what you think by dropping me an email. I'd love to hear feedback on either CD, or if you have a question where maybe you'd like to have a special CD made just for you with all your favorite songs on it I will be glad to do that for you
at no additional cost. That would be done through me and not
CD Baby.
I'm very hopeful that an accomplished artist will hear my music and want to record my songs.
I'm also interested in writing music for use in Television shows, Commercials, or Radio. I have the ability to write for any type of media needs.
My Bio:
I feel very fortunate that my father (a concert violinist and graduate of the Julliard School of Music), introduced me to my love for music and the guitar at the age of 5. Learning basic music theory, and mixing my own creativity in, I soon learned I could re-create most anything I heard and loved being able to add my own feel to the songs. Influenced over the years by groups from the Beatles, Led Zepplin, The Doobie Brothers, and Creedence Clearwater Revival, I developed my own playing style, which is purely a mixture of all the great musicians I learned from earlier in my life. I will start out writing a song that has a taste of John Fogerty in it, then go on to something much heavier, where you might hear a touch of Black Sabbath, or maybe even a touch of James Gang "funk", then the next one will be an instrumental, with the influence of my guitar hero, Joe Satriani. I have so many influences that there isn't enough room on this page to name them all. Though most all of my music must have at least a touch, or slight feel, or influence by some great musician, I always reach into my soul and inner spirit to create something very unique, using my own style which I've been working on my entire life. After spending most of the 80's doing the Hollywood club scene with many different bands, I found that I was much happier being in my studio writting and recording my own music. It was like my head was full of ideas just screaming to be let out!
