Description
Boyhood musical friends, John A. Walsh, David George, Jeff George, and Steve McCarthy reunited in 1996 and formed studio band Georges Attic. Life intervened and had taken each of them in different directions for the previous 15 years; fortunately, circumstances brought them back together to pick up where they had left off.
Between 1996 and 2002, Georges Attic recorded three albums of completely original music: Chasing Down the Wind, Torments of Vanity, and Cobalt Blue.
David George and John A. Walsh continue to record to this day. John A. Walshs Songbook was released in 2003, and there is a new record set for release in early 2007.
Cobalt Blue is the seminal Georges Attic recording and likely the last. From the rocking opener/title cut to the powerful closing tribute to the victims of the 9/11 tragedy, On this Turning World, the listener will find this record completely satisfying.
