Description
A project that started from the Easter chant of Vidi Aquam (I saw water), and quickly developed into a set of contemplations on Water in different metaphors. From the foreboding and exhultand Vidi aquam, with countertenor added to the children's choir, to the more contemplative Rain of Buddhist thought, to the vernacular passions of eyes dried up of tears and the infinite water puddle of Stevenson. This cantata for solo baritone, children's choir, two trombones, bassoon, soprano saxophone, and harp, is ideal to complement a program with Britten's Symphony of Carols, or similar works.
