Description
Jon Hainstock is not just a singer/songwriter. Slashes do not fully complement what he does. Hainstock plays a brand of piano-pounding acoustic and electric pop rock. His mature songwriting never veils his voice, which paints a different color into each song. Hainstock is real enough to smile during a show even in his most vulnerable moment. He is daring at some points and bashful at others, but never afraid to point out the irony or awkwardness of a situation.
Jon writes songs about your life - songs about his life. Your stories - his stories, are what fuel the melodies that drive the anthems he sings. All of which are kept alive by reflecting on previous successes and failures. He sings truth however hopeless or determined.
Hainstock wants to change lives and is constantly searching for a way to make things better. For now he has this music and he wants to share it with people who could sing it with him. That way he and his listener could be connected somehow, near or far, no matter how impersonal, and grow together through life.
