It features the smokey vocals of Helen Merrill, backed by the guitar stylings of legendary players Charlie Byrd and Jimmy Rainey. Also the fine drumming of Osie Johnson, and other music notables like Keter Betts and Jimmy Giuffre in the mix.
Mostly in the English language, Merrill also sings in several foreign languages on the album, including Japanese, Italian, Portuguese.
