As youll soon discover, he has clearly come into his own as a lyricist and composer. On this album, Todd manages yet again to articulate experiences of life into his craft. He blends rhythm and melody in a contemporary, yet classic style. This albums musical journey takes you from the contemplative rhapsody of the title track to the jazzy, airy, inspiration of Revelations; from the somewhat stinging social commentary of "American Pride," to the gentle and sensitive How Do I Say Goodbye (To You). Todd's straight-forward recording style allows you to feel like youre right at home, sitting on the living room couch getting your own personal performance.
