The Phantom Power
Herva
Upward-thinking indie pop collides with electronic signals emitting from would-be robots; Herva then smashes a guitar over the whole thing and calls it a day.

Description
NOTE: Herva's "The Phantom Power" is an mp3 only release at this time, although it shows "out of stock" here it is/will be available on all the major mp3 sites/services.
The Phantom Power is an indie pop/electronic smash-up of sound built for when you feel good, or when you need to feel good. Wringing every ounce of sound from his gear, Herva creates every beat, note and word himself. Beats get layered over guitars and bass, nothing goes to waste as Herva even samples himself, chopping an unused track and re-assembling it into the stuttering, funky jam of "Yeah," a track that keeps you clinging to the melody as it punches you from both sides.
Herva's fresh lyrical approach inspires without a trace of irony, he's not out to change the world, but he is dead-set on making your drive home from work a whole lot better.
In this digital DIY industry Herva seeks other artists with creative spark, this collaborative spirit brought animator Vance Reeser into the picture, who's brain-melting video for Herva's song "Deep Six" can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x30fw1kXgwk
Reeser's video had won film fest awards in the UK and the US and is available as a podcast (flashtv.com) and phone download (V-Cast.) Reeser's site: http://www.vancereeser.com
