Description
The most significant aspect of this CD is the performance of the Oru Del Igbodu (a set of toques or rhythms on the bata drums paying homage to each Yoruba orisha or deity).
Each toque stops before going on to the next making it easy to study each toque in isolation. (Victor Rendn 98/99 Catalog--descarga.com)
Recorded at Banff Center For the Arts, Banff, Canada in September 1994. Includes liner notes by Michael Spiro, Scott Wardinsky & Andrew Schloss.
