Beginning To See The Light
Jane Stuart
This CD absolutley swings with a well chosen mix of classic jazz standards, new treatment of Stevie Wonder and poignant ballads, all of them sung with effortless style. Jane really swings & Rave Tesar's piano solo's are so delicious.

Description
Jane sings with effortless style, natural warmth and phrasing that is subtle and right on target. She's hip, without the pretense.
Beginning To See The Light, produced and arranged by Jane Stuart and Rave Tesar, is a wonderful selection of jazz standards by Jon Hendricks, Duke Ellington, Stevie Wonder, Mack Gordon and Rodgers & Hammerstein II, to name a few. Solos by Rave Tesar are exquisite and perfectly matched to Jane's performance. Rick De Kovessey's drum work is tight, subtle and very tasty. Loved the solo's by Vinnie Cutro, Frank Elmo, Kermit Driscoll, Sue Williams, Len Argese and Frank Valdes.
Choice of material and pacing of this CD put it in a class above most.
Jane is classy, jazzy, sexy, funny and totally charming.
(Bebe Cole)
Jane sings in clubs in the NY/NJ area with her trio.
In the New York State area, she sings with Reflections, a 19-piece jazz swing band.
Jane is still involved with many projects as a solo artist, background singer and percussionist.
Projects that are in progress are with Arthur Miller a funky,Freudian/jazz/folky can't explain it kinda thing and "Strange Weather" a Frank Zappa-esque adventure.
I love all the projects Im involved with. The diversity of the styles of music keeps things interesting. Most of the work I do is with my wonderfully talented and celebrated friends, so it's great to get into the music, hang out and support each others creative goals."
