Originally of San Pedro, a surf suburb of Los Angeles, Gusich began his trailmix of music as an accomplished accordionist. As a drummer he has kept Beats with Rock and Surf bands in L.A. & San Francisco. Bands to his credit include: Prophet, Street Urchins, BonJoeVic, The Shoulder Hoppers, Mongoloid, and The Walk-Ups. A claim to fame was with the Surfabilly Sound of Elvis Cant Surf and the release of their CD, Nice Trunks while opening for Surf Guitar Legend Dick Dale at the Roxy, Hollywood. Later in SF, Joe & JJ Schultz formed the acoustic duo BullJive! playing local venues in SF & the Bay area as well as a cross-country tour in 03.
EleKtriK SunsEt gigs regularly in SF & Bay Area. CD release parties & a U.S. tour are planned for '07. Stay Tuned! Also, if you are checking out the Dallas scene, you may spot Sunset croonin' at an open mic during a 'business trip' to Texas.
