Description

Junko wrote many of these songs as a brand new mother, and many of the songs reflect the joys and trials of her new season in life. "Christ Dwells in Your Heart" is one which she wrote as a prayer for her children. "As for Me and My House" is her own interpretation of Joshua 24:15, while "I Will Rejoice" is her commitment to praise the Lord in all circumstances, as per Habakkuk 3:17-18. "Practicing the Presence of God" is a song which comes from Brother Andrew's words that no matter what our calling in life, we ought to always be doing everything wholehearted as unto the Lord.


As usual she includes several hymns on this CD, two of which are recorded partially in Japanese: "This is My Father's World," and "Come Thou Fount." Meanwhile, "The Sacrifice of God" has become a standard worship song at her home church and beyond. All in all, this is the album about which Junko has said, "I can finally say with confidence that I am a singer AND a songwriter!"
