Description
NDALA KASHEBA : REFUGEE: LA VIE DE REFUGIE
The Maestro Ndala Kasheba lived for over 30 years of his life as a refugee. He fled Zaire for Tanzania in 1968. This song is dedicated to his children and to all the children of refugees worldwide.
Kasheba's intention is to raise awareness about the 19.2 million of us living as Refugees. This video and song is also a reminder that Kasheba's spirit and memory lives on
It has been almost 3 years since Limitless Sky Records released an album. This is not due to a lack of music, rather it is a direct result of this harsh and unforgiving world we live in.
In late 2003, Ndala Kasheba, our biggest Artist and good friend became very ill. All our efforts were diverted towards finding ways to help sending money for medicine, life needs and anything we could do.
Kasheba passed away in Febuary of 2004, at the early age of 59 years. We will work hard to keep his memory alive, to make sure his musical gift to the world keeps on giving.
Our intentions for the song and video are made clear within its presentation. We hope you will join us in our efforts to raise awareness about our collective situation through this video.
All proceeds from the sales of Ndala kashebas music go towards his childrens education.
