Description
Where do we find happiness? We have all been told we have to go out and look for it. But will we find it out there? Artist Kathy Williams discovered that its not something you will find somewhere else or in other people. You already have it.
In Kathys new CD entitled, Happily Ever After, she explains that the happiness we seek comes from within. No matter where we are in our lifes journey. For example in the featured song, If You Asked Me, she reflects on the experience her mother had of simply putting her hand out the window of a small plane and touching the clouds. Even though it was war time and there was devastation and sadness all around, this simple experience helped her remember the fun and amazement to be found inside ourselves no matter what is going on around us.
But saying it is easier than doing it. We often lock ourselves away from others and dwell on the bad things that have happened. In the song, Happily Ever After, we are reminded that the future is in front of us
and the past cant be changed. When we learn to love and appreciate ourselves we release ourselves from the bad relationships of the past and become more attractive to others, including that one special person who is searching for us.
There is no question that life has a lot of ups and downs. But the value that of all of these experiences provides one with true insights and an appreciation of who we really are. Through her songs, Kathy Williamss perspective gift to you is to first love and appreciate yourself. Then the true joy of life will follow.
