Kelly, mixing modern contemporary dance and pop music together with a strong. positive, forward thinking Buddhist message.
Finding her true passion for singing through her undying faith and practice in the SGI, she has truly created songs with a modern sound that can appeal across the board to both young and old, Buddhist and non- Buddhist alike.
Originally from Seoul, South Korea, her family moved to America when she was just 5 years old to begin a new life. The family settled in Columbus, Georgia and then later moved to Tampa, Florida. Her mother and father formerly introduced Kelly to the SGI practice at a young age. She has been an active SGI member for almost all of her life but is now finally realizing her human revolution.
In the late 1990s, Kelly moved to Los Angeles in the hopes of pursuing her life long ambition of a singing career. Things didnt go quite as she had hoped originally, and she began to stray from both her dream and her practice. Thankfully, this only lasted a short time, and, after moving away from her goals for a little while she began to start writing again and renewed her strong faith in both her dreams and the SGI. That dream was lost until I started chanting again , Kelly has said.
Her lyrics are inspiring and her music leaves you wanting more. Kelly is truly enchanting and is destined to help spread the positive message of the SGI in her songs.
