Description
KEN HART
Born in Tupelo and raised in Water Valley Mississippi, these roots are evident in the songs of Ken Hart as well as his early musical influences: Steve Earle, Hank Jr., Haggard, Jones, and Mellencamp to name a few.
In summer 2004 Ken made a guest appearance on Grammy award winner Jimbo Mathus www.jamesmathus.com Knockdown South release playing acoustic guitar and singing harmony vocals. In March 2005, Ken released his debut CD Aint No Trains produced by songwriting great Rock Killough and featured Mathus on drums and guitar, Jed Clampit on guitar, Bil Clampit on bass, and Mike Tramp Lawing on mandolin and violin.
In 2005 Ken appeared on Front Row, a TV series featuring songwriters, produced by Jones Television Productions in Springdale, AR. Ken is also being featured on a compilation CD called When The Levee Breaks to be released on New Orleans based 219 records in 2006. The CD also features legendary producer Jim Dickinson, North Mississippi Allstars Luther and Cody Dickinson, Jimbo Mathus, Olga, Lynn Drury, and others. It will be distributed by Redeye.

Since 1995 Ken has shared the stage with greats like Sonny Throckmorton, Rock Killough, Keith Sykes, Tricia Walker, Doug Supernaw, T-Model Ford, Nancy Apple, Bo Roberts, Ken Edwards, Jimbo Mathus, Sam Anderson, Gove Scrivenor, and others.
