Since the age of 15, Keith has been composing on his axe due to his discovery of funk/rock pioneers ...namely Jimi Hendrix, Santana, Prince & Funkadelic... but his dad's jazz fusion albums is what sent him into the jazz genre. By him discovering that there is freedom in contemporary, jazz is what blessed him. Jazz is a storyteller just like the afrocentric music of his ancestors...he ran away with it naturally & spiritually.
