Description
Kyan's music is meditative and relaxing, but still fun and "catchy" enough to keep your attention. Although every song is unique and stands on its own, each one complements the other, creating a mood that takes you on a journey... and when it is over, you want to experience it again.

"Often people have asked me what kind of music I write. When I have said "New Age", they tend to want me to be more specific -- electronic? piano? meditation/mood music?
I usually have offered the explanation that I try to write music that has a strong melody -- something they may remember, much like a song on the radio that they hum or sing to themselves after hearing it.
I've been deeply influenced by popular music throughout my life (especially rock, pop, ballads, dance, urban) as well as the works of the classical masters and other New Age artists. My writing style is one that has evolved from a fusion of these many influences with the emotions I have when I sit down at the piano."
